Our Success Stories

Computer Classes

Pallavan School has partnered with Ritinjali, an NGO dedicated to community development through education, to launch a project aimed at empowering disadvantaged students from nearby villages such as Munderi, Patpadia, Changeri, Gavdi, Semli, Mandawar, Kolana, and others. The school has generously opened its Computer Lab to these students, offering vital Computer Literacy training designed to bridge the digital divide. This initiative equips students with essential skills for the modern world, including the ability to use technology effectively and safely.

Ritinjali plays a crucial role in mobilizing students and expanding their educational opportunities. Besides daily computer literacy classes, the program also organizes Functional English classes three days a week and provides Life Skill Development workshops. These sessions are designed to help students navigate both their personal and professional lives with confidence. After classes, students are encouraged to utilize Pallavan's playground to enhance their sports skills, fostering both physical development and team-building experiences.

The project has already produced impressive outcomes. Many students have excelled, demonstrating significant progress in understanding both hardware and software, mastering programs like Microsoft Office, and safely navigating the internet. Some have advanced to secure jobs at various centers, while others have started their own e-mitra outlets, providing digital services in their communities. A few have even become computer teachers, sharing the knowledge they've gained with students in other schools. This initiative is not just about bridging the digital divide; it's about empowering students with lifelong skills that open doors to new opportunities.
